"Overall, the location was very convenient, especially being close to the outlet. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, I was woken up around midnight by someone banging a door very loudly. The TV noise and other sounds from outside continued after midnight, which made me feel uncomfortable. I had difficulty falling back asleep because I was worried someone might come to my room."

"The amenities at the Avenue Inn & Spa were plentiful. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast, hot tub, wine & cheese, indoor pool, cookies, and sauna were a few of the amenities. However, the floors in the rooms were not as clean as I expected. The floors in the common areas were decent, and the atmosphere was cozy. "This hotel is located in a great location for shopping near the outlets and getting to Rehoboth Beach. The staff was very friendly during our visit, parking was plentiful, the breakfast was good and the rooms were very clean. Plus, the hotel looks like it has been renovated in recent years. However, we visited in early June, so the hotel wasn't fully occupied and traffic on the roads to the outlets and to and around the beach was manageable."

"The room was in ruff shape smoke alarm was hanging by a wire, big hole was in the bathroom door, wires hanging from tv, walls were marked up, people were screaming at each other in the middle of the night. Parking was another $25. Good location but in need of a good remodel."

"Very quaint location, could use more sand less grass behind the hotel but otherwise beautiful, they had a cute little sand area with hammock swings, but it would’ve been nice to have sand in front of the water for children to play otherwise very nice kitchenette and bathroom size. We ate at the lighthouse, but they were out of most of the fish, which is why we like to come to the beaches for fresh fish, but that is not the hotels fault. I did like that they had parking available for us on site....

"This hotel is in a great location to beach and restaurants. The staff were super nice. Fresh ground coffee prepared in the morning for all. Great roof top pool. So clean. Parking was great and so convenient! I would definitely recommend and stay again !"

"I booked a room in a February, a standard King room. When I got to the hotel I was told that my room was upgraded to a deluxe double room. Upon getting to the room I realized that the standard King room that I booked in the nice renovated half of the hotel turned out to be a room with two full beds in an outdated rundown section of the hotel. I was unable to sleep in the same bed as my wife.There is no way the two of us would fit in a full sized bed. I had stayed in this hotel in the past and it...

"This was the best place I stayed. However, it was not at the Inn for which I paid. When I arrived, no one was in the office, but I ran into some guys renovating the property. The called the boss for me, and he put me at a much nicer property at Staybridge Suites, 34521 Old Postal Lane, Lewes. That was the nicest place Instayed on this vacations so far and the breakfast was the best. The WiFi was flawless."
