"Our flight from Killamanjaro International Airport was cancelled at the last minute and we were lucky to find this little gem at at a great price (80% less than the hotel the airport recommended). The owner/Hostess, Ilene, was great. We gad not eaten all day and she cooked a delicious simple dinner for us. The rooms are clean and sir conditioned and the grounds are small gardens. "

"A nice boutique hotel located in a very downtown of Stone Town. It is kept in a vintige wooden style, but rooms are fully equipped with AC and safe. The breakfast is served on a top floor terrace with a nice view over surrounding rooftops (photos attached). We spent there two nights, with a warm welcome at reception and we were nicely treated with a typical local appreciation and helpfulness. The check in was while sitting in a living room, they explain me all of the option for a day tour, the took care of my laundry after treking the Kilimanjaro. The lodge looks is wonderful, all is green beautifully plants, the room is wide, clean cacfully and really nice, the food is diverse and delicious. "Rooms are stretched over a beautiful area close to the ocean and are spacey and well maintained. Options of two bars/restaurants with friendly staff; service in general very good - which is rare in Zanzibar. Food and drinks are good quality and many choices but also quiet expensive , similar to the 5-star hotels close by. Otherwise one of the best spots in Pemba! "
