"There is no reception at the property so you need to be a bit more prepared than I was when you arrive. You need your key code to hand - which is easier to do before hand not when stood in the rain after a long drive with no reading glasses and little patience. That overcome (the info is in a mail and you can re-request) the room was of a good standard and the bed was really comfortable and the shower was hot and with good pressure. "Very basic tired property. Bath/shower needs improving and shower curtain needs removing. Staff and food at lunch were good but breakfast and staff could of been so much better"

"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."
