"We stay here when in Yeovil visiting relatives. The Hotel is dated, and a little 'tired' . However there is always a war., cheerful welcome. The rooms are large and windows can be opened which is a big bonus in my view. We made the mistake of trying a different hotel once. Never again. The manor suits our needs and budget. "

"We love Lyme Regis and The Royal Lion Hotel. It is historic and charming.The rooms are large and comfortable.It has a new indoor pool. The food is great. It is in the high street so very close to shops, restaurants, bars,and cafes, and of course the sea and the quaint Cobb. "

"A heritage property in the town centre. In decent condition but to recognise its price point and position, a refresh of interior finishing would benefit, The staff are excellent, I interacted with housekeeping, reception, night porter and breakfast team, all are exceptionally friendly, the receptionist in particular was really very helpful and kind. "

"Room clean, nice big bed. But stark decor & bathroom needed updating. Very non-smiling lady was my welcome, but there were other frendlier peops on reception. No room service & no food available after 4.30 except in restauranr which was fullly booked... not my idea of hotel service. Nice pool but crowded because not just hotel guests but also a local health club. So that hotel/spa feeling non-existant. Disappointing stay, wouldnt recommrnd unless u want sports bar/health club feel to a hotel."

"Clean room. The pool can be booked for swimming or family sessions, unusual setup but works well. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed here several times but only this time did I realise the motorway was so close, as it was light when I was leaving. The soundproofing is very good in the hotel."
