My first time at a Holiday Inn Express & was very impressed! Beats Premiere Inn & Travel Lodge on price, quality of room/bedding, & breakfast also included. Will visit again.

First time at the Holiday Inn Express having had a bad experience with Premier Inn, and I was impressed. Well presented, good staff and well maintained. Breakfast was also good. Will try this brand again for sure. Nick B

Dog friendly. Wish we'd been told on arrival that there was no food available that evening, and that the Harvester next door accepted dogs in the bar area where food was available. We were told that dogs were not allowed in there, so we ordered a takeaway which took 2 hours to come.

The hotel itself was very easy to get to and the welcome was lovely and genuine. We had requested a groud floor room due to medical issues. The room was lovely but unfortunately the cups and spoons .were sticky and had coffee stains on them so we had to rewash them. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast wasnt very good the fresh orange juice wasn't juice, it was squash. The scrambled eggs were cold, the bacon was very fatty and again cold. The butter for the bread was cold and solid so ripped the bread unless you had it on toast. Outside the hotel are pillars covered in dog urine, running across the pathway. I get that dogs are part of a family but why let them urinate by the main entrance to the hotel ?

Great hotel stay
Excellent customer service at reception. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating also bringing some laughter at check-in and also during bar service. A great location just off the M5 junction 25 and next to the Harvester. We also noticed that it was a dog friendly hotel which was great to see. The room was very clean and well equipped. We will definitely return. Thank you!

Quite simply its very clean very comfortable and with a very good breakfast included it is VERY good value. Normally at this price you expect worn, tired, grungy ....not this place. I would definitely stay here again.

Not as good as we hoped
Stayed 4 nights. Room was never properly serviced. Perhaps Xmas did not help ! Breakfast food was never hot, powdered scrambled eggs gritty and orange juice from powder was disgusting. Indoor temperature was far too high.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good choice and the food was hot. The only issue would be with the size of the breakfast room. We were warned about not leaving it too late to go to breakfast as you might need to queue or 'grab and go' so we went early which meant there were plenty of tables free. If you left it later and the hotel was busy there would not be enough tables for everyone. The hotel was in a good location, close to the M5 and Taunton town centre. Once we'd arrived there was plenty of free parking (enter vehicle registration into computer terminal in hotel reception).

Migliore Inn Express europeo tra quelli provati!
Perfetto. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ampio parcheggio. Camera smart. E’ tutto realizzato per sfruttare bene gli spazi. Arredo intelligente anche in bagno: aprendo la porta verso l’interno si creano due ambienti, la zona WC e la zona lavandino. Letti comodi, pulizia ottima, comodo secondo specchio di 2 metri nella camera da letto vicino agli attaccapanni. Aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante e silenziosa. La colazione offre ampia scelta e i prodotti sono buoni, la sala moderna, ottimo servizio: appena i clienti si alzano dal tavolo arriva subito qualcuno a pulire. I miei complimenti alla direzione perché tutto funziona bene ed è organizzato in modo egregio, il miglior “Inn Express” da me utilizzato.

Comfortable stay
Had a shift starting at 1pm so allowed me a late check out of 12.30pm. Breakfast included is always appreciated but would have been good if eggs and cheese was on offer, especially for vegetarians.

Prefer a Premier Inn
Bed comfort and ease of check in 10/10. Plug sockets all at skirting board height, no mirror at the desk area, so trying to put makeup on and do my hair really difficult 3/10. Lighting in the room was gloomy 3/10. Breakfast - cold bacon, rubbery sausages and burnt toast 3/10.

Room was clean, modern and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there was no bottled water in the room and only sparkling water available to buy (normal bottled water had finished). Breakfast was served from 7am on the weekend giving me enough time to eat before an 8am shift. No heater in bathroom and instead of central heating, there is a air condition unit which didn’t really warm the room.

Good quality Customer Care by Reception. The bedroom was very clean and well prepared. Breakfast was very well prepared, and monitored by staff, and clearly supported by guests. The car park was convenient..
