"A great wee find. Welcoming, cheery staff and a clean, tidy room. Food options were all good, and the fish was delicious and fresh. Happy to recommend and return"

"We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! Spent next night over the bar - I used earplugs! Some of the staff were delightful but unfortunately my first encounter was a French lady in the bar who was obtuse to say the least. I...

"We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. "Niki could not do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Excellent food and staff. Room was lovely. Excellent location for travellers who would like to explore Auchterarder, Dunblane, Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Gleneagles. Thoroughly recommend."

"Excellent property directly opposite the port. Old buildings as expected, but beautifully refurbished. It was enormous with a large modern soaker tub, separate shower stall, wc and vanity. (The only downside is trying to find a parking spot which is very difficult throughout this town, so be prepared to drop off, or walk with your luggage.) The restaurant...

"Special place. Beach-view room is a must. Great breakfast."

"As one of the lowest prices within 50 miles of Edinburgh, the Elbow Room far surpassed my expectations. The room was a good size and had a balcony which would have been lovely on a sunny day. The food in the te"
