Cari Vila di Te Anau

"Hotel was dated but VERY clean. Beds comfortable. Location good. I think a good choice looking at other hotels and glad we chose this one."

"El Hotel está muy bien ubicado y creo que es el más bonito de la ciudad tiene un muy buen desayuno, aunque ya se ven un poco viejas las instalaciones el gimnasio está en otro Hotel de la misma cadena y deja mucho que desear las vistas que tiene el Hotel son bonitas"

"The place conveniently located. Michael at the front desk was very helpful."

"From the moment you click on the website, its premise is based on a lie, for ‘Lakeside Te Anau Accommodation’ it is not! The room is relatively clean, no doubt helped by the bed bug warnings emblazoned on the room walls. It is rather quaint, the room decor and bedspreads reminding me of my great grandma’s place, bless her soul, with warnings about fines for not doing the dishes to an appropriate standard again reminding us of the history of a bygone era. Beware of breaking the rules as you...

"Ein sehr schön gelegene Anlage direkt am See mit tollen Annehmlichkeiten für meine Familie wie der Spielplatz, der See auf der anderen Seite der Straße und die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir hatten eine geräumige Family Cabin. Sie war nur etwas sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten aber eine sehr gute Zeit."

"Great stay at Shakespeare House! Nice clean room and very modern. Great owners who were helpful with recommendations if things to do and providing assistance where needed"

"Nice clean motel, very friendly staff. Conveniently located."

"This was ok. We had to change our plans last minute so had to book late. This was no fuss. Thank you. Heat pump running all night downstairs was a bit distracting. Neighbour's talking on phone outside until 9.30pm annoying but not your fault. Staff issues so we never actually met anyone from there but that was OK. Extensive renovations going on at the moment (Sept 2026)which was a worry at first but it didn't affect us."

"I was charged an additional adult at check out. The hotel staff (same person) should inform meat check in. You could not just charged someone when at check out. Travellers, beware! about the sneaky staff This hotel also used by Chinese's group tour, they are loud. "

"Great spot to look out over the water and mountains. A couple of things that weren't so great were: the shower leaked really badly all over the floor and there was no extra drain the the bathroom to catch any of it. Also couldn't use the TV as I think the battery remote was flat. Could turn it on from the TV but couldn't do anything without the remote. It was later at night that we discovered this."

"We really enjoyed our stay. A beautifully maintained and well appointed property. Extremely helpful staff."

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic. Restaurants and shops were just a short walk away, making it very convenient. The amenities were good, and having a laundry room on-site was a definite plus. Shared kitchen was clean. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!"

"We booked the hotel room (not the motel). And it turned out that the it's pretty old hotel, and it seemed only 4 of us (2 rooms) were staying there, probably because it was low season? The cleanliness was ok, however we chose not to stay there and moved to other motel that are closer to town center. "

"The owners checked us in and were extremely helpful with dining options. The room was nice. Ours was small but comfortable, although the furniture was a bit dated. Be sure to bring your wine glasses if you drink the local wines as they are not provided in the kitchen or room. The kitchen is shared with other clients. If you need to store refrigerator items the kitchen refrigerator is bigger than your room. and the freezer is large as well. This was handy. Housekeeping is not daily, but I’m...
