"My birthday at Hotel La Compañía was nothing short of extraordinary, and truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely spoiled by the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Every detail was so thoughtfully curated, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making my stay special. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, an elegant blend of history and luxury, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It was the kind of space you look forward to returning to, even after a full day of exploring. One of the highlights was the incredible massage at their in-house spa, which was pure bliss and the perfect way to ease into a day of celebration. The entire experience felt indulgent, calming, and deeply restorative. What truly set this stay apart, though, were all the thoughtful touches. I arrived to find a delicious birthday cake waiting in my room, and later, while celebrating with friends at Capella Rooftop Bar, another cake appeared—completely unexpected and such a joyful moment. As if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to complimentary champagne by the pool, adding an extra sparkle to an already perfect day. Every interaction with the team felt genuine and effortless, and they managed to strike that rare balance between professionalism and heartfelt hospitality. I left feeling incredibly grateful, celebrated, and already dreaming of my return. Hotel La Compañía is a true gem in Casco Viejo."

"Breakfast buffet was amazing! You just couldn’t want for anything and the best coffee! Staff were all personable and they worked so hard everyday."

"Huge 2 bedroom suite with kitchen. Provided coffee for coffee maker and pods for nespresso maker. Also provided bottled water and milk. Although we did not cook kitchen appeared to have everything one would need. Very clean. Only suggestion is if you are staying over a weekend you may want to bring earplugs. The Saturday night parties were happening all around. Sunday it was quiet."

"The bed was comfortable and the Air conditioning was cold. Architecture was strange..,lots of concrete which did nothing to soften the noise coming from the Nightclub overhead, until about 3 am. I had booked an inside room which I had heard could be quieter but was “upgraded” to a balcony room. The balcony is a shared balcony between all rooms on the second floor on that side. It overlooks the sketchy looking street beside the hotel and allows for you to “enjoy” the music as if you were sitting there. Ear plugs did not help. "

"Great photos of the property, they really enticed me to select this place. The location was on the border of Casco Viejo. My biggest disappointment was the lack of extra towels. I also had to buy our own hand soap, soap for shower, coffee, tea, and toilet paper. I asked for a complimentary cleaning and they only picked up trash, they did not replace the towels. "

"The bedding was superb. The apartment was large and comfortable. The front desk staff, Neris especially, were super helpful and friendly. The kitchen could have had more cooking implements, but we didn’t ask for more, which may have been available. We would have liked more housekeeping, but we didn’t ask and it was as described as being light. We appreciated the availability of clean towels midweek. The location was very convenient and we felt safe. The restaurant downstairs had excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. "

"when we arrived the check in was not ideal. The room we initially received was not clean and the windows were very dirty. The reception was with a staff named jesus and was very bad, After we complained they changed our room and the second room was ok. "
