"Location, breakfast, staff that we saw in person were all great. The room was unique but beautiful and appeared newly renovated. Our only complaints were with the automated check in process to get the room key. And once that was resolved the key didn’t work the next day. There are some kinks to work out but it is a nice place in a great location. The young woman who served breakfast was extremely nice and friendly. "

"Brilliant location for walking to centre of Valletta or to ferries . It is also on a city circular town bus if tired at end of a day sightseeing. Very friendly staff who went out of their way eg to heat up some water for an evening Lemsip! Very good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again."

"The communication was really good - we got all the check in info with plenty of time, and messages during our stay asking if we wanted new towels or a room clean etc. The location was also very good. The room smelt a LOT like damp. There was an extractor fan and a dehumidifier but they didn't really do anything. The bathroom was also absolutely tiny - I'm a small woman and I struggled. Overall, an okay stay but incredibly basic and I wouldn't want to stay here for longer than a few nights "

"Clean room, lovely staff, great location. Nice rooftop pool. Only suggestion would be luggage racks in room. Shower doors also slid open of their own accord sometimes - but still a very enjoyable stay."

"Lovely big stylish room. 51 right by terrace. Tiny interval courtyard window but excellent lighting. Lots of wardrobe space, queen sized comfy bed, marble bathroom, plenty of towels, coffee machine plus kettle for tea. Supplied topped up daily. Good hairdryer and safe. Nice art on walls. Spent quite a lot of time on the terrace, wish bar was open, as a lot of guests up there between 4 and 7pm. Apparently it opens 1st May. Excellent choices for breakfast- 3 interconnected basement rooms, lovely...

"Lovely clean and large rooms. Buffet breakfast which was more than adequate. I think staff were in training as there were so many staff around the breakfast area at times they were a hindrance "

"The gentleman at reception greeted us warmly and gave us useful tips for navigating the immediate area near our hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety of fruit, pastries, bread, as well as options for omelettes, porridge etc. The building decor was impressive and cleanliness was immaculate. Perfect location for access to restaurants and attractions. Reception staff very friendly and shared much useful information on attractions in the area as well as tips on tours."
