Hotel sits up on a hill in a quiet area, but has food and shopping near by. Great stay for one night while travelling.

Upon arrival and check in, our first offered room smelled awful, the second was a bit better & the third worked great. It was obviously a known issue because the staff asked if it smelled moldy when I said it smelled bad. Our 2nd room had some lights and a the bathroom fan that didn’t work. The 3rd was well maintained and quite clean. The pool got the most attention, which was comical considering the small of some of the rooms. I gave them 5 stars because the staff, specifically Freddy, went above and beyond for us. I knew traveling to a small town on a budget wasn’t going to give us a great room, but Freddy checked on us and made sure we enjoyed our stay.

The inner sheer curtains were torn in 3 places. Most of the furniture looked like it came from a thrift store (was all scratched up on the surface edges). I found a used tissue under a pillow on the sofa in the bedroom. Toilet was cleaned very well. Breakfast was okay but not really what was put on the website. I understand continental breakfast, but I don't think a small snack size muffin or cookie wrapped in plastic really qualifies as "pastry."

There was no breakfast offered. We were recommended to a McDonald's next to the hotel. The rest of our stay was great. We were in town for the one night. All we needed was a clean place to sleep. the hotel looked as it had recently been remodeled. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay in Tell City Indiana.

There is no elevator and we had to carry multiple large suitcases up the stairs. My 71-year-old mother-in-law was provided accommodations on the second floor and fell down the stairs, sustaining injuries to her head and knee, and missed our wedding.

Check in took a long time compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. Our room was on the second floor. The stairwell to the second floor was hot and stuffy and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The whole second floor smelled smoky and musty. The room was a bit musty as well and the a/c was set to 70 and running when we walked in the room, but the temperature felt much warmer than 70 degrees. The coffee maker looked dirty and I unfortunately, wasted the coffee as it was undrinkable. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The beds were made, but the pillows were a little flat and the cases were stained. The Coca-Cola machine near the lobby would not accept my money, and while there was a bodega in the lobby with a very small selection of snacks and drinks, hotel staff were preoccupied and not helpful.

The rooms were dirty. They smelled like mold and mildew. I stated breakfast included but they did have milk for the cereal, the juice machine was out of order. The burritos were the 1.00 kind you microwave. They did have a waffle maker but at 730am it was out of mix. I would not recommend this location to anyone and I am surprised this location has the Wyndham name attached.

Check in took forever, like 45 minutes. There were 4 people ahead of me, and one person working. There were 4 people in our hotel room. There was no shower curtain, and there were 2 bath towels, and 2 hand towels. We had to get additional towels. There were no towels out by the pool, despite the employee telling me that there would be. Breakfast was a joke. Frozen breakfast burritos, instant oatmeal, granola bars. Nothing fresh, all prepackaged. Would definitely NOT stay there again.

We were supposed to have 1 king size bed, but when we checked in the toilet was stopped up, so we were moved to a different room with 2 standard beds. There was a light bulb burned out in the bathroom, but it was quickly replaced. The room was clean & Kayla, the cleaning lady, was very sweet. The free breakfast was a little lacking, but the waffles were good.
