The property was well located and it was nicer than expected. It is 2 blocks away of 1 of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific coast. I recommend it.

Excelente lugar, con todas las comodidades, amplio, limpio, seguro y muy cerca de playas hermosas. Definitivamente volveremos!

This is a condo in a condo complex with a beautiful pool and common area, very good security and excellent rooms. There is no "front desk" or services (daily maids, concierge, etc) which suited us just fine. There are people in other units that live there, or visit for extended time periods, and everyone was very friendly. The condo itself was nicely decorated and contained everyone one would need. We cooked a few meals there but mainly it allowed us to keep fruit, snacks and drinks readily available for our daily excursions to beaches and state parks.

Quiet comfort!

Booking through Expedia was great with no issues arising! We were booked into unit #8 and it was being managed by an off site property management company(Tamarindo Prop.Mngt.) Before leaving we had limited contact with the company and it took numerous attempts before they would contact us back. Arrived to the resort around 2pm and were met by the on duty security guard who could not speak English. He showed us to our unit with an envelope from the property mngt co with a number of brochures. No other instructions. Also gave us a key to another unit. We assumed we could make a choice. There were staff at the resort but because we booked through an off site prop.mngt.co.they wouldn't provide room cleaning, toilet paper etc...Buyer beware, we weren't prepared of the absence of service!

Sehr gut gepflegte Einlage im traumhafte Umgebung

Sehr gut gepflegte Einlage im traumhafte ruhige Umgebung. Wer Beach-Hopping machen will, ist hier richtig. Es gibt genügend Essensmöglichkeinten in der Nähe und voll ausgestattete Küche in der Apartment. Kein Nachtleben, aber wer braucht das wenn man sowieso früh morgens von Brüllaffen geweckt wird. Was wir nicht bekommen haben ist Zimmerreinigung, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir hatten unsere Privatsphäre. Sehr gerne werden wir Potrero noch mal besuchen.

Excelente ubicación, comodidad y limpieza. Lo único que cambiaría sería poder utilizar la piscina un poco más temprano, actualmente se permite a partir de las 0830h.

Una mezcla de comodidad y facilidad

Los condominios son muy confortables construidos con gusto, totalmente amueblados con utencilios de calidad, toda la facilidad si lo que quieren es preparar sus propios alimentos. Una piscina mediana que permite un ambiente de relax y distracción para los niños y grandes. Cercanía a nuchas playas, personalmente me gustó más Penca que Potrero. En los alrededores hay sitios para comer o para comprar abarrotes y a algunos kilómetros muchas alternativas. La única sugerencia sería que una persona reciviera a los huespedes y los orientara sobre aspectos básicos, como el uso de aire acondicionado central, tanque de agua caliente y algunos otros aparatos electrícos; este elemento de personalización sería bien recibido.

Best of Costa Rica

The Casa Del Sol condos have never disappointed. Located away from the tourist areas you will be able walk to some of the best beaches in CR. You will experience Costa Rica (Chickens crowing in the early AM, howler monkeys in the trees, and loud salsa music to 2:00 am on Saturday night from the local neighborhood bar across the street. The facility has a great pool and is in walking distance to several stores and sodas.

Nice condo, but a little remote

I really enjoyed the Casa del Sol. Based on feedback from others, I knew it was well outside of town down a dusty road, so I wasn't thrown by expectations but people should be aware it is definitely well outside any major playa (beach). The condo itself was really well-kept, had a kitchen with all the necessary tools. My young daughter and I were able to go to the pool in the morning and have it largely to ourselves, then head off to beaches later in the day. There are a few Supers (mini-marts) for the little needs within walking distance and a few restaurants that you can walk to. Nearby walking beach was fair but others nearby accessed by car were better.

Un lugar para recomendar.

En términos generales muy bien el hotel, excelente mantenimiento y limpieza, lo único que deben mejorar es la ropa de cama y las camas mismas ya que están un poco flojas y ruidosas.Cerca de muchas playas hermosas, la piscina y jardines en impecables condiciones, excelente mantenimiento, la villa con muy buena distribución y muy cómoda.

Un bello lugar para descansar!

Ya sea en pareja o en familia, en este lugar usted podrá disfrutar de una habitación de lujo. En nuestro caso nos asignaron la habitación #12 y la verdad quedamos sin palabras al llegar, mucho lujo, excelente gusto para la decoración, el lugar totalmente equipado. Las piscinas y el Jacuzzi son de tamaño mediano, pero suficientes para la capacidad del lugar. Toda la vegetación del lugar es bonita y en muy buen estado. Solo debe tener cuidado si va en mas de 1 automovil, pues los espacios son limitados por habitación y no sé como hacen cuando van varios autos. Hay poco personal para asistirlo a uno a su llegada, pero en realidad el guarda de seguridad es sumamente amable. Vale la pena! reserve sin miedo! También en los alrededores parece ser un pueblo muy tranquilo, la playa está a solo 150mts caminando y es muy tranquila. Hay varios restaurantes cerca y el ceviche del Café Arabica en la esquina es de los mejores que he probado!!! 100% recomendado!

Great place, quiet location

Great place to stay. Lots of room. Only downside is that its far away from stuff, so rent a car to get around. Cab ride rom the Liberia airport will run you another $100 to the hotel.

An excellent facility in a somewhat remote location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Casa del Sol Condominium very much. The facility is very clean, well maintained and up to date. The location is very secure with a 24 hour guarded, gated entry. The security guards and maintenance people are very friendly and helpful. Dave the general manager was very friendly and helpful. He was always eager to offer suggestions, recommendations and he quickly made corrections and adjustments when they were required. The facility is located in Potrero down a 6k bumpy dusty gravel road from Playa Flamingo and it is recommended that you have a rental car. The beach is more than a few steps away. It is about 500 yards from Playa Penca a beautiful white/gray sand beach. We found the facility to be very comfortable and with our rental car it was a good location. We can highly recommend the Casa del Sol Condominium if you are planning a stay in the Playa Flamenco area.
