"Good location on outskirts of the city."

"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"Everything was great. The only issue we had was that someone upstairs above us has a shower at 3.45am and woke us up with the sound of the shower. I expect that is unusual though."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"My rooms was large & comfortable. Apart from the heater it was excellent. My evening meal was a limited buffet that cost £30. Tbh I don’t eat a lot as would have like the option of a small meal."

"The room was compact but clean and comfortable; however its position on the ground floor at the front of the hotel meant that the busy road was just a pavement width from the window and the road noise was loud, intrusive and constant. "Clean basic room, plenty of parking. The staff were very helpful. I had a very early start the next day so they kindly lent me a bowl an spoon so that I could make myself some breakfast before I left. Excellent value for money"

"It's a lovely building close to the M11 in lovely grounds with parking. What I didn't like was check in at 4pm, it's out of step with most other places which are 3pm. Most hotels can get the rooms ready 11-3pm. The room was very small and the style was very dated, the rooms away from the main building are not well signed and a room for 2 people had no hand towels, 2 bath towels and the only toiletries was a minuscule bar of soap, no shower gel or shampoo.
