"Following a warm welcome by the staff, we were taken to our room which included all necessities for an overnight stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and sufficient to last most of the day. The pub is located in a small quiet village with a walk to the River Avon close by. Thanks to all staff who made our stay good. We will be back."

"It needs a crib sheet in each room telling of breakfast times, emergency tel no's etc. The room was very dark. Bathroom OK but would benefit from some shelves to put toiletries on etc. Breakfasts were very good with a wide choice. Dining in was v good but we felt overpriced. The whole experience was good but felt at £180 it represnted poor value."

"Basic room. Although there were patio doors opening onto the car park there were no windows so the room was very hot during our stay. We brought our own fan so were able to manage but would have been very uncomfortable if we hadn’t. Bed was not very comfortable. Electric shower and the plug in the sink got stuck down if used. We arrived at 5pm on Sunday and told no food served after 4pm. Also no breakfast available. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the pub on the second night and food was good....

"Hotel is in a great location, opposite the park. It is very stylishly decorated and the breakfast was great. The downside was that it was during the hot weather and the room was extremely hot, even though there was a fan in it. The windows only opened a little, probably due to safety reasons. It was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Parking was quite a way down the road, but we were given a pass, so not charged. The garden was nice to have an evening drink."

"A genuinely lovely stay! Hosts were superb. Breakfast cooked to order and arrived hot, everything tasted good. Extra treat to have fresh fruit and yoghurt. "Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. "On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!"
