"It’s a pretty old hotel in need of a proper renovation. Poor cosmetic fixes does not pass the test. The first thing that should be fixed is that deep pothole in the middle of the driveway that looks like it’s been there for years. I’m lucky that it didn’t damage my vehicle when I hit it. Poor value as far as I see it"

"When we checked in we were notified that the power would be out the next day from 8 am to 6 pm. As a reminder, that we should have known, although no indication of this on the website or any other booking site. "So will breakfast be at 7:00?" I ask. "No there is no breakfast" he says. "So what do we do then?" He says he will have muffins, bread, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. in the spare room. Okay, but nothing near the $60 breakfast included and paid for in the reservation. The next morning...

"On arrival the room seemed cleaned but in a rough shape and subsequently noticed a very strong BO smell in room 7. Notified staff, and they moved me to room 5 which was in much better condition, clean and well ventilated."

"We stayed at the property for 2 nights. On the second days we were told there would be a change made to the lock on our door. It took about 4 hours during the day to make the change, forcing us to leave the property during that time. We were compensated by 10% of our total amount. The work should be done when the property is not occupied."

"Was a little worried at the exterior pictures / reviews but we were pleasantly surprised to find a newly renovated room. Only negative was the twin beds…..very small for 4 average adults and queen beds would fit in the room. Smart tv was a bonus as we could use our own Netflix subscription."

"Staff helped us get checked into our room early, the room was clean and neat, and with the doors closed it was very quiet, even right next to a busy road! Right near a bunch of restaurants, and the downstairs “Joe’s” is also great! Fantastic ocean view! Make sure if you want privacy you check on your door sign, as it’s windy and they tend to blow off the handles easily. Finding a better system for those would be my only suggestion for improvement. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!"
