"Great location"

"Room was clean and neat. It had a mini kitchen with cups/plates/utensils, which was convenient. Breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast. We didn't get a chance to swim in the pool but it seemed clean. The only thing to note: if you are taking public transportation, there is a train that stops right before you can get to bus 76. "Locked out of room twice. Card didn’t work so we had to go back down stairs and get it re activated both times made it very inconvenient. Didn’t have a trash can in the room or have enough towels in the room. Early morning tenant was very rude. "

It's a cute little property and even though the "Honeymoon Suite" is a little cheesy, it's where we stay. "Booked a city view room with a higher room charge for my friend, but got a non-city view room when checked in. My friend did not like to argue so I called the front desk about this, but the front desk person just hanged up on me after I told them that the room they offered was not a city view room. Later on, they did not pick up any of my phone calls at all. It was only 7pm. Extremely bad service there!"

"Staff not welcoming"

"This is a great hotel right in the middle of downtown and close to everything. Building, elevator and rooms look a bit dated. There are convenience stores and restaurants withing the hotel but u can just walk around downtown for amazing food. I would recommend this if your plan is to spend a weekend in LA Downtown."

"Beautiful, historic property with great amenities!! You especially will want to take advantage of the gym and fitness facilities including sauna, cold plunge etc. The restaurants and bars are great too, and you can walk to a bunch of other nearby spots too."
