"Nice clean simple accommodations. We would stay there again. The village of Silves is a nice, quiet smaller town (at least in May). Restaurants and sites are in walking distance. There’s also free public parking one block away."

"Me and my partner stayed at this hotel, when it was advertised it wasn’t advertised as an apartment/hotel. The swimming pool was a little bit under the weather and needed a bit of a freshen up so we didn’t use it. The hot breakfast didn’t look very appetising so we didn’t eat it. If you’re needing somewhere to stay and not in the apartments much then this is ideal. We booked a room for 2 people and there was 2 beds and was quite spacious with a kitchenette. "This property was a great find! It was immaculate. The townhouses were nestled in well manicured landscaping. The club house was wonderful with breakfast that was decent. The location was 8 mins to the center of town. Our only observation was that the vilas was in need of modernization. The decor needed refreshing. The washing machine and dishwasher didn't work. "The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. "

"Pros: 1. The pool looks nice; however , we didn't use it. 2. The apartment is so big with huge balcony. Cons: 1. The Apartment and the balcony were so dirty. 2. The bathroom had tons of mosquitos everywhere. 3. No trash pins in the bedroom, the living area or the kitchenette. 4. You get hot water for just few minutes, after that it turns to cold.
