"Lovely room and the beds were so comfortable! We followed advance about the parking in a very close car park so cheap and easy.
We had an issue with towels which was sorted out immediately and communication has been great.
The only thing we’d have liked is the ability to make a cup of tea, only a coffee machine was in the room, and they don’t get hot enough for tea. Small thing and wouldn’t stop us from coming back! Fab place. "

"The slate is a lovely hotel ,cosy and comfortable .the reception is welcoming and clean and there's a lovely log burner in the bar that gives the plase an atmospheric smell.
Evening meal was really good and good value for the home cooked food we enjoyed .
Breakfast was really good and just started the day perfectly .
We recommend to anyone and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Wales ."

"Granted, we did only give 5 hours notice of our arrival, but the room was dirty and cold on arrival. No heating in the bathroom and the window wouldn't close properly. No soap and we found dried toothpaste on the bed linen. The table was unwiped and greasy. We requested to move rooms and, as much as it was a better room, it did also have issues. No soap in the bathroom and the light was quite frankly dangerous and didn't not stay lit. We found another review which said the same thing back in...
