"The hotel overall was filthy. All floors, windows, hall furniture and common areas were in need of a deep and thorough clean. The pool was more green and did not appear clean. All wallpaper was rippled, peeling, or stained. The doors had dents all up and down them. The breakfast nook was dirty. There was hair in both beds. The bathtub needed a deep scrub or replacement. "We had a great stay at Dunes Village Resort! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the kids absolutely loved the indoor water park and pools. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach and plenty to do nearby.
The only minor issue was some initial confusion about accessing the parking garage, but once we figured it out, everything went smoothly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!"

"Unfortunately for the hotel, they had an issue with the fire alarms and sprinklers going off which led to me leaving my room hoping to work (remotely) in the lobby only to find the sirens and water was far worse there. It was almost 2 inches deep in the entire lobby area including the front desk as the sprinklers continued to pour from the ceilings with firemen all about and staff scrambling.
That is the reason for any low ratings.
Up until that, all was nice.

"AMAZING staff especially the lady that check me in and out. Breakfast, the service was on point when we need towels and wash clothes. Less than 3 minutes each time. Room very clean and bed slept great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to my friends and family!!! Thanks Fairfield for making our stay wonderful!"
