"Lucky we decided not to take dog with us as the garden wasn’t safe & secure as fence was broken on site parking is not on site it’s first come first served no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors a lot of cobwebs a strong smell of dog floor in master bedroom very bouncy floor when walking over also bed mattress very hard & lumpy the switch for bedside lamps hard to access to switch on off & can’t see on advert it’s a upside down house "

"An older style property but quite well maintained Quiet area convenient for Dartmoor National Park. Breakfast was OK but with the curious requirement to select from the menu the night before. The complimentary nightcap was a nice touch "

"Have stayed before but this time we had a two bedroom apartment. As with our previous stays, the apartment was comfortable, warm, well equipped. Yes a bit worn in places. Cooking facilities could be a little better eg. Condition of frying pan, no cooking oil but otherwise everything you could need. Facilities on site are excellent. Adventure golf was very good. "Hotel reception wasn’t well signed. Rooms were clean, but corridors were quite dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Main restaurant wasn’t available so had to eat in a stark feeling cafe area which wasn’t so nice. The staff were very accommodating regarding allergy issues. The steak wasn’t very good. Breakfast in the restaurant area was nice. Again staff were attentive."
