We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Externally harassed by homeless couple asking for money on approach to hotel. Parking is in the multi storey station car park, great smell of urine on each entry way! We were in the rooms on the square, which were well maintained, clean and additional equipment such as iron/ironing board (but no hairdryer) were provided. It was a heatwave weekend and fans were provided in the rooms. We had drinks in the evening, and breakfast at the pub in the morning, which was excellent. "Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? Answer No, not til the restaurant opened at 830 am !!!( Old COFFEE Inn ?!? ). Was the restaurant still open ( closing at 8pm ...didn't know what they were serving ). Would the 8pm World Cup match be shown ? ( Mind you there was a sign out front advertising it ). NO, they only put the TV on for England...

"Clean comfortable single room with well appointed bathroom and toilet en suite. Shower worked well. Tea and coffee provided mug,kettle and glass for drinking.Towels and toiletries very good. Ample parking well laid out with allocated room number on the car park space. Cosy bed. Safe area and Chinese next door convenient for takeaway. Reasonable prices. Room needs a fan though, would advise anyone staying in summer to bring one as it's not great to leave windows open in Covemtry! Bins outside...
