The Hotel At Auburn University
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent service for a small town hotel. Valet and bellman meet you at the car. Lots of college students working the valet, desk, and restaurant. I suspect they are hospitality majors fulfilling a lab requirement, i.e., I got the feeling they are being graded. Self parking garage, with plenty of spaces, next door for a fee. Restaurant is a bit pricey, but convenient. Short walk to Toomer’s Corner and many restaurants. Across the street from the library and campus. Only problem is the coffee maker. Makes a frothy cup of coffee, but not a simple cup of regular. The bar is active at night and a bit lively."

"I had to stay a week here and it was great! The cleaners aren’t super great but the front desk people are so super awesome! The laundry facility was very helpful in my situation!"

"Friendly staff. Clean property. Quiet and safe. Room was very clean. They need towel hangers in the bathroom and a bigger TV, but overall a very nice property for the price. I recommend!"

"Simple, clean, coffee, water (by the gym) available all day... Ample parking. Coffee is a great perk when leaving at 4 am for a flight. If you don't need to be walking distance from AU, hands down best pick, if the hotel itself is the priority and not the warm fuzzy welcome. Definitely would stay again. Much better than other area hotels. Including previously stayed at townplace suites and the graduate. I would stay here again, would not stay at either of the other places again. And if necessary, DD, and some fast food places walking distance."

"The place was clean and in good repair. The hotel breakfast was adequate and about what you would expect. The room smelled a little musty until I turned the Air Conditioner on and then it was fine. The staff was very friendly and accomodating."
