The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! "Lovely stay at the inn. Was a late booking to break up the journey but the staff were welcoming and the accomadation was perfect. The pub is obviously very popular but the accomadation is set back and there was no noise despite it being a busy Friday night"

"Great place for mother daughter getaway"

"Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale."
