"We thought when it says sofa bed that it was for two people and not just one. In the states sofa beds are for two people so we were squished in the beds were not very comfortable especially when Marriott are known for comfortable beds."

"This hotel was in a great location for us. So close to public transport, shops and Restaurants. We were greeted by a friendly cheery young lady at reception. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. We were kept well supplied with toiletries, but unfortunately milk was not replenished so only had the one coffee during our 3 night stay. Air con worked well.It was great to be able to wash and dry our clothes in the laundry at no extra cost."

"The room we got was not the one in the advertisement. The amenities were ere the same but room arrangement was not. I think the listing is over exaggerated and they need to put real photos in Expedia. The stairway carpets are dirty stained. The whole place would do with an update or just a good thorough clean. Initially the room had a strong foul odour. The staff was helpful and refund of deposit was fast."

"Nice new(ish) hotel. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a long time. Has so much potential but feel few main things that let it down 1) Lack of parking. Whilst can pay for parking spots are very limited. We were unable to get one and had to do laps around area to find parks. Its untimed on weekends but 4hrs weekdays. 2) Breakfast options were very limited. was a cabinet of savouries and cakes that didn't seem overly fresh. "Staff were very friendly. Everything was ready on arrival. I was upgraded to a nicer room with direct beach front views. Property presents well, room was in great condition. Spacious. Close enough to the Tram, and directly across from beach. Great value stay."

"Front desk reception was very nice; parking was included and readily available, although a little tight for our SUV; our front screen door was stuck in the locked position, so we were unable to close it; the screen to our balcony was stuck in the locked position, so we couldn’t open it to access the balcony; beds very hard; pillows flat; while we understood that the location would have traffic noise, we didn’t realize this included very obnoxious hooners, constantly through the night. "In overall it was a good experience. Couple notes: 1 - when I ordered pizza in room service, they brought just a pizza in the box, no plates for 3 of us. 2 - When we came to the swiming pool at 4:30pm, the stuff- lady said that it will be closed at 5pm. However, we left at 6pm and pool was still open with many kids, parents and personal still at the pool. Not sure if this lady was new to this hotel??"
