"Hotel, as noted, is partially under renovation. This includes the pool area, which was not accessible during our stay, nor required by us, just an FYI. Room was newly remodeled with a very minimalistic theme. Currently no chair/table, microwave, coffee pot, etc in the room. No place, other than the bed, to open your suitcase. While our room was clean, we found it difficult to obtain a comfortable temperature as our room faced South/West and had floor to ceiling windows with the blinds open upon arrival. Sleeping was somewhat difficult due to a parking lot light directly outside our room. The blinds could not keep this light out. We had concerns about being too close to the airport, for noise, but never heard any airplane noise, although that could have been due to the AC constantly running in an attempt to lower the room temperature. Overall, we needed a place to shower/sleep for an early morning flight and this place fit the bill. Once renovations are complete, appears this could be a nice place to stay. "

"When I went to check in the office employee had no shoes on. I requested a room on the first floor but he nevr asked smoking/non-smoking. Turns out the room was a smoking room. Do to the smell I was not able to get much sleep my first night. I asked the front desk the next morning for a non-smoking room. It took about 30 minutes but they swapped me. When I went into the new room that evening as I was getting ready to go to bed there was a bug on the floor. I took a picture of it. During the night there was a constant beep and I also didn't sleep very well. All in all I don't think I will ever stay at a Express inn and suites ever again."
