"The staff went above and beyond"

"I am not a mean spirited person nor am I fussy. But I travel all the time and I grew up in Ocean Grove and my night at The Quaker Inn off season even was not good. For $300 my friend and I got a tiny room with two single beds, no view. When I asked for an upgrade, I got a lame excuse even though the place was empty. There was no hot water for the morning shower; no nice amenities like good soap or shampoos. Thin towels, a cheap blanket. No breakfast. One of those terrible capsule coffee...

"Liz, Ashley and the entire staff at The Inn were excellent and made us feel so comfortable and welcome! Breakfast was delicious and we could have asked for a better stay. Upon waking up to a plumbing issue, Ashley and her staff were right on it and even moved us to a suite to complete our stay. We will definitely be staying here again and this Inn and the Marilyn, their sister property, will always be our first choice!"

"We had the best stay at The Lillagaard! We were only there for one night but wish we stayed longer. From the very start, the owner, Suzanne, was beyond accommodating. She called to see when I would be checking in and when I told her I was going to be in town earlier than expected she offered an early check in since the room was ready. "The room was disgusting. It was mold in the shower, the blow dryer didn’t work, shades were broken, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and there were stains on the sheets. There were also flies in the room. The photos on the website were extremely deceiving"
