"Hotel is in a convenient location for town, museum, local mill, galleries, seafront and eateries. Sea views from rooms were distant and somewhat obscured by buildings. Manager, once onsite, was very helpful with helping to identify allergens on the menu. Pool looked inviting but had to be booked ahead of time so presumably only used by one group at a time. Good sized games room with comfy seating round."

"We stayed in room 1 - one of their cheapest rooms - but next time I’d pay more for a sea view and quieter side. Our room faced the main high street (and public loos!) so was a little noisy and had full afternoon sun so got warm. An air con unit was provided but the Dyson fan did not work. The room was much larger than expected and due to the age of the property sloped quite a bit! Our bed was massive but could have been propped up to make it level. Pros of the property = excellent central...

"The property was as in pictures apart from the entrance, which was around the back of the property on an uneven surface and up a steep metal wet staircase. Would suggest slated blinds as the sun makes the property very hot especially at the velux window above the sink. Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely sea side town. "

"The Apartment, was quiet and just the right size for one or two people to stay in. The town was walkable to the town, but it was the hills coming back up. There was no onsite parking and it was pop lucky if you got a space on the road."

"Lovely comfortable flat with lovely seaside decor. Amazing view of the sea. Close to everything you need. Parking is tight but they do warn you of this, so it wasn’t a surprise. There is some noise from the road as there are traffic lights outside the bedroom window and it’s near the theatre so some noise from there. But it did not affect our long weekend break and we had a wonderful time and would go back."

On the day our rental should have started, I again tried to contact the property owner before check-in time and after check-in time to obtain a key code to access the property. Again I could not get an answer. There was a telephone number on the door of the property. We tried that, but it was the same recorded...
