Inside, the cottage is equally serene and well thought out, with lots of windows, plentiful hooks in the bathroom and a great walk in shower, as well as a clean and spacious kitchen and living room. "The 2010 golf course is a great design, a real challenge and was in amazing condition following the long hot summer. The room was well appointed with a comfy bed. The staff were all fantastic and oh so friendly and helpful starting with the doorman on arrival. Dinner in The Grill was good although it was disappointing how many restaurants were closed in September. Overall a great experience."

Had a lovely ploughmans and sticky toffee pudding for lunch in bar area,really enjoyable.Nice patio outside for evening drinks!!!Breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dining room,service was excellent especially from sue who went out her way to make it enjoyable!This was my first visit to the Castle Hotel of Brecon and it won't be my last!!"
