Parish church of St James the Apostle, Pulloxhill, Bedfordshire, seen from the north. The building was dedicated in 1219. The tower collapsed into the nave in 1653. Eventually the roof collapsed too. In 1845–46 the building was completely restored.

River Flit. This is the River Flit. The river of course gives its name to nearby Flitwick. This little watercourse runs through a nature reserve here, owned (or at least cared for) by the local wildlife trust. The photo was taken from the bridge seen in 1517066
