"What we paid was overpriced for what we got, breakfast was disappointing would have liked an option but the staff were friendly, the place was nice but a bit dated, location was good, I have no real complaints except the price I paid wasn’t worth what we experienced"

"Wonderful hotel in a great location. It was awesome to be able to walk to the Menil Collection. One of our favorite areas of Houston. The only thing that was odd, and a safety hazard was the shower. No door or curtain allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor making it very slippery. We had to put towels down all over the floor."

"I could not have been more pleased with my stay! I have already booked 2 more stays at this lovely hotel. The staff was phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and kind. I was in Houston for care at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and the staff made every effort to keep me comfortable and make every second perfect for me. The food is spectacular and the pool is wonderful. I cannot wait to go back!!"

"We had a great experience at the Magnolia. The only thing was that there wasn’t an ice machine on every floor ."

"The location was great. Easy to use the 500 bus to get to the airport. The breakfast was good and the omelette was made for you . The hotel room was clean . The gym was clean had lots of good cardio machines and did have dumbbells and a cable machine but did lack the standard weights machines. The pool was lovely. Would have been nice to have been able to swim before 9am after the gym but it was well maintained ."
