"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

"Nicely located simple hotel. Very cheap so good value for money. Good simple breakfast. Clean simple room. Overall very quiet. Staff are a mix of friendly and indifferent. Some fixtures like plug points were a little loose. My key card kept malfunctioning which was a minor inconvenience. Only minor downsides were the public area especially the lobby were boiling and the staff used the fire exit near the stairs to smoke outside of and propped the door open so the stairwell stunk of cigarettes."

The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Housekeeping clearly does a great job here, and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. "Lovely quirky hotel. Free parking and in easy reach of public transport with only a short tram journey to the centre of Sheffield. Rooms clean and welcoming. Beds comfy and a modern clean and large on suite. Breakfast was perfect with help yourself cereal toast and a full menu of various cooked options to choose from cooked fresh with table service. Only downside breakfast room was far too hot. Would definitely return."

"To staff were very welcoming and helpful, the property has obviously had significant investment, the quality of the rooms is excellent, the food in the restaurant is fantastic. The car park is huge, and they are waiting for new EV chargers to be installed."
