"From the time we checked in until we checked out, the staff were amazing. Checked via text msg how are stay was and if we needed anything.
Room was clean, we had 2 queen beds, linen was clean and fresh, bathroom also very clean and more than enough towels. Never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have bathtubs (had my 3yo grandson with us), but that’s ok, he had his very 1st ever shower and it was successful!!!
Loved how close to everything we wanted to do we were.
The only negative, if you want to put it that way, is the pool floor looked like it could really use a good cleaning/sweeping. It wasn’t slimy or anything, just looked like it, and the swim chair (which we didn’t use) could have used a good scrub.
The water was clean & clear, and you could smell the chlorine.
Also, breakfast was delicious! Eggs various ways, sausages, pancakes, muffins, bagels, hot cinnamon rolls, cereals, yogurts, juices, and of course coffee."
"Typical motel, nothing special, but it was a clean, quiet place, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There's a Perkins restaurant in the same parking lot, within very easy walking distance of the hotel's front door. Not a bad experience at all, I'd stay there again."
"Very nice hotel especially for families with children! Super nice warm large pool- Decent sized rooms large bathrooms - Very nice breakfast area Will delicately stay again - beds were ok not the most comfortable but overall stay was good"
"Property was nice, rooms were clean. Indoor pool was nice. Right by all the stores and food in town. Overall nice place to stay, a bit pricey for the room but it was ok."
Wingate by Wyndham Altoona Downtown/Medical Center
10/10 Excellent
"Limited breakfast options, pool could use a cleaning to remove the gunk above the water line, otherwise no issues. Bed was comfortable. No towels were at the pool so we always had to bring feom our room."
