"When you drive up to the motel, the curb appeal is not great, But the motel and rooms are fairly nice. Our room was clean and the breakfast was good. Folks hanging out in the parking lot were loud and the train running behind the motel woke us up very early. Also, the ice machine was not working. The staff was friendly."

"The pool here was very well maintained which we loved. The air conditioner in our room made all kinds of funny sounds that woke me up several times in the night. The staff was also not very friendly. For the price to stay here I expect better."

"The room was very clean and cozy. Stove top, microwave, sink, etc worked great and it was nice to be able to wake up and make breakfast, then make dinner before bed. It felt like home. The staff was all very welcoming and sweet. They were super helpful and always attentive to our needs. The locat I on was perfect to get to all the historical sites in town, and to Cloudcroft!"

"For the price I don’t have anything to complain I mean clean room, good water pressure, there’s a microwave and a fridge, what else would you ask for? You can hear trains throughout the night though."
