"Breakfast was so good, it was all kept stock during breakfast hours. The staff was very friendly and happy to help with check in, out and needs while we were there! Parking was nice. The indoor pool and water slide was a family favorite way to end each day!"

"We visited for an overnight in July. The grounds were well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool/fitness complex was clean and well-staffed. The Woods and Wedges breakfast wrap was a hit. I don't recommend the avocado toast. The service there was friendly and attentive."

"This has become my go to stay place when traveling east. It is a great hotel with a wonderful staff. Helpful, kind and courteous. The continental breakfast, simple but with a variety. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the showers rock! A quiet stay with amenities and a pool! Conveniently off the highway. Definitely worth the overnight or more stay."

"We really liked Stephenie behind the counter!! They were short staffed the pool was closed, our bathroom needed help, rust in the sink and floors, cigarette butts all over outside, my friend and I wanted to stay and help her out!!!!! So sad, otherwise a beautiful place , has so much potential!!!! The store next was adorable!!! Pizza was awesome!!!!!"

"The sheets and towels were dirty. When asked for more towels for showering and the pool because only 2 towels were in the bathroom and 4 people were booked for the room we were given 2 more and was told that was all they had. Wash clothes were brown, and sheets had dirty on them. Bathroom wall looked like either blood or dirty was on them. When you first turn on the water it was orange. Building smelled like pot. Pool was open and alright but dirt was floating in it. Fridge did not keep...

"The hotel was reasonably priced for the Fourth of July weekend, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the rooms were very dirty. The air vents were completely covered in dust, and our room didn’t have central air—only a window air conditioner. If you’re not planning to use the indoor water park, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff weren’t outright rude, but they also weren’t particularly friendly. They were probably dealing with a lot of kids and stressed guests because of the holiday...

"It was kind of frustrating we got there thinking we would have a room available at 3:00 pm as it stated when I booked the room and no rooms were available till around 4:00 pm and the washing machine was broken. I totally understand that in itself was not the staffs fault. But I asked 4 times within 24 hours for towels and kept being told “in about an hour” and finally had to ask an additional time to get them. For how much I spent I was not really happy with the few factors I mentioned. Also...

"Very quiet in a great location that is close to shopping, restaurants and only 20 minutes to the State park beaches . Nice to have coffee machine in lobby all day . We Read that Breakfast was really good but it was just okay with scrambled eggs and sausages as the only protein . Also the gym was not really a gym - a few free weights and cardio machines . Even a bench or two would be nice . Still we paid a pretty good price and 30% less than nearby Holiday Inn."
