"Our room was not cleaned properly. Dead spider on carpet, dirt and dust on bathroom floor, all moldings were very dirty. TV screen was smeared with something. Room smelled of cigarette smoke and coffee dispute it being a no smoking room. Unfortunately a rowdy group of people sat on the patio outside our second floor room until 1 am. Not worth $149 per night. Kelly's Corner, which is just down the hill, has very good food and was the highlight of our stay."

"Very good parking the façade of the buildings were well painted. The windows are very old. The carpet in my room smelled terribly. It looked like the shower was mopped with a dirty mop. The walls were filthy. The bedding and the sheets were very clean."

"The maintenance man was fixing a door next to my room. He became very angry and began swearing every swear word in the book. Including the “N” word. Very unprofessional I might add, and he was saying it loudly. I couldn’t get my laptop to connect to the internet, I called the front desk and they charged my two dollars a day for their special super 8 wifi. I thought there was wifi there? Anyway the price was right and it was way better than the last time I stayed there. I’ll use them again."

"The front desk guy was nice and held the room bc we got in late, but the room itself kinda sucked. Mold on the shower ceiling, water took forever to warm up, killed 5 bugs in bathroom/bedroom, road noise from trucks was loud, and they doubled the regular price bc it was grad weekend at Penn State. I'm not a hotel snob by any means, but it was hard to sleep due to the above."

"No coffee in the room and no access to any coffee or breakfast the next day. No staff on premises after 9pm or in the morning. I paid more because it was graduation weekend. The staff at the attached restaurant was no help regarding our stay at the hotel."

"Poor breakfast no eggs or sausage It said continental. We went out for breakfast instead. I booked there for the breakfast and the pool and was looking forward to it after a long drive. The pool was closed. UNFIT TO SWIM IN. It was definitely overpriced.The bedroom had black specs of dirt on one bed. They did move us to another room. The previous night was much cheaper at a Quality Inn had no pool, but I knew that and the breakfast was unbelievable good. It had everything. Don’t go to this...

"The decor is a bit outdated, but it was clean. It wasn't very expensive when all the other hotels were charging triple because of a Penn State event. So if you don't care about modern amenities and aesthetics, this place fits the bill. I was worried when I booked it, but I would stay here again."

"Room was ok, but this hotel is very beat up and dated. It was clean enough, but bathroom and carpet pretty bad. Breakfast was very weak, be aware it’s a continental breakfast, not hot. Only toast, hard boiled eggs and yogurt and cereal options. It was fine for an overnight on the road, but don’t expect anything very nice. Lower your expectations."

"The property was clean and modern. Would help to have better road signage and road entrance markings. The road side is very loud with trucks using brake retarders early in the morning. Should not be allowed in small towns and rural areas in my view. It is nice to have a clean and well maintained hotel for frequent family visits."
