"Nice place, no complaints, didnt hang around the hotel much but was a nice place to come back to and sleep at the end of the day."

"The room was clean, comfy bed and good shower. The place in general looked a bit run down. The cooked breakfast was terrible with fatty bacon and sausages with hard skins. The continental breakfast lacked in variety. The staff were very attentive."

"Clean, small room. Flat pillows, thin walls-could hear the person next room snoring. Breakfast doesn’t start til 8 on weekends, so not useful for an early flight. It is close to the airport which is why I picked it"

"Royal Highland is an ideal location and at first glance a quality hotel. However we were given a room on the 3rd floor (attic) which for close on £400 for two nights was way below my expectations. The window is very old and shows signs of rot. It didn’t keep out the noise from the street or the plant downstairs. "We enjoyed our stay! Breakfast ($) was good and filling for everyone. The room was spacious, and offered sleeping space plus a desk to work while away. Overall very lovely, although a staff member entered our room early in the morning, while we were sleeping on the last day, waking us up. That was not ok."
