Breakfast had a good selection but was basic in its offering in terms of western choices (toast, cereal, yoghurt, 2 types of fruit), enough to start your day and the coffee from the coffee machine was decent. The restaurant within the hotel serves good Thai food at ridiculously low prices, and the tables are directly on the beach (your feet in the sand, under the trees). "The Beach Samui is everything you need and more for an island escape far from the touristy areas. Mind you the beach isn’t really swimmable but you can still walk along the shore, as well as take advantage of the hotels pool and lounging area. The dispensary and the herbalists were amazing, the quality and variety of products was very cool. The food they serve in the hotel that you can order, I loved them all. They also have restaurants around you can try.
