The spa was very nice and clean, but the hotel itself could do with some updating. Had to run the shower for 15-20 minutes to get any hot water, the bathroom needed a good clean, some staff in dining room at breakfast and cleaning staff very nice, rest need to learn to smile more. Food by pool ok but chilli 🌶 very watery as though had been defrosted, not what I expected from a 3 star hotel

Mattress was uncomfortable. There was a party and people talking at very high pitch so we could not sleep at all. Dinner was also not good as when we asked for squid they said it’s all over. We asked for waffle which was way too sweet and ice cream was icey and not creamy.

Indoor pool was closed,no mention of that when we booked. Outdoor pool was very cold, but it was clean and maintained. Breakfast was awful, bacon looked expired, beans were mushy and the sausages were tastless and looked horrible. Room was big for 4 of us,decent bathroom, but none of the windows opened, the pillows smelled like 50 years old, sheets had stains, and so did the mattresses. Incredibly hot in the room! Not worth £155 per night, hotel is in need of refurbishment

We had a lovely stay, myself and my husband with our daughter and her partner we all said we will be back again, i have asked for a quote to bring our family down for my 60th birthday in June 2027 for 23 of us as there is so much to do at the hotel for the adults and our grandchildren, we ate both night's and couldn't Fault the food the lift was broken down but the hotel did notify us before we arrived and did give me a room below due to my arthritis so thank you again! Kind regards Diane Ferne

An absolute cesspit of a hotel! ONE TO DEFINITELY AVOID!!! Staff were not helpful, rooms were vile, no air conditioning, lift didn’t work, minimal channels on tv worked, shower didn’t work, bed was awful. I complained to the reception and was told that a manager would contact me. Near on one week later, still no response and they are even ignoring emails. The manager is useless and clearly knows that his/her hotel is awful, hence the lack of response. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!
