Exceptional

We received such a lovely warm welcome from Vanessa and Cameron on arrival at the Millbrook, which immediately made us feel at home. Hotel was absolutely spotless, and breakfast was piping hot and delicious, in fact it was the best breakfast we have had. Vanessa and Cameron worked so hard to make everyone’s stay perfect. They took the time to get to know each guest individually. We loved the well-stocked tea tray in our room and the mini fridge, which was restocked daily with fresh milk and water, such a lovely touch and much appreciated. It was great to have free parking at The Millbrook as we have found can be rare in Torquay. It was also great to have a lovely lounge with a great TV and lovely garden to relax in. Just a short walk to the seafront, which was really convenient. We have already started recommending The Millbrook to family and friends and will definitely be back.

Three night stay at The Millbrook B&B.

We had a three night stay at The Millbrook. Vanessa and Cameron are lovely hosts. The Millbrook is very clean and kept to an excellent standard. Our en-suite room had a King size bed, garden view and also included a fridge with bottled water and fresh milk daily. Full English Breakfast was freshly prepared to your liking, which also included Toast, Tea, Coffee, Fruit Juice, Fresh fruit, Cereal, and Yogurts. If visiting Torguay we would definitely book here again.

Memories Millbrook book it you wont regret it

Absolutely amazing stay home from home. Lovely touches in the room from toiletries to a mini fridge with water and milk. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, room 7 lovely with 2 comfy chairs as well. Breakfast full english or smoked Salmon just wonderful. In the evening we only made it to the town one evening the other 2 we used the small seated garden area which was lovely. Vanessa amd Cameron went above and beyond nothing was to much to make your stay welcoming. So much so we have booked to go back.

Holiday in Torquay

Enjoyed staying at Millbrook and it was bed and breakfast. Enjoyed cook breakfast and host were very pleasant and helpful We liked it a lot and would come back again. The only thing was the door opening which a bit difficult to open, but we managed.

From the moment you were welcomed by Claire at the door it was an EXCELLENT break ! Nothing was too much trouble There was tea, coffee,biscuits to make a cuppa with even a jar of sweets and bottles of water in the fridge all free Bed was really comfortable , bathroom with free toiletries too . Claire's fantastic local knowledge helped us enjoy our stay even more !! Thanks for the heads up of the Jubilee concert !! A great choice of varied selection of breakfast items were available , All local fresh produce used . Look forward to returning some day !!

A fabulous place to stay

Wonderful host Claire, great accommodations, our room had a fridge with water and milk which was topped up daily. Excellent selection for breakfast, which we pre ordered the night before. And when we left Claire gave us bottled water and fruit for our journey which was so thoughtful. A fabulous place to stay.

A home from home

We stayed at The Millbrook for 3 nights and I cannot fault it. Claire was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. The location is excellent as you can take a 10 minute walk to Torquay seafront and an excellent base for visiting other areas. I would not hesitate to recommend The Millbrook to anyone and would definitely return if we visited the area again.

Superb!

A wonderful B&B, best I've ever stayed in. We felt like extended family and didn't want to leave. Claire's attention to detail was superb and in accordance with current regulations. The one down side was water pressure in the shower and bath but I'm sure that was unavoidable. The home made cookie and sweetie jar on the hospitality tray were a very personal touch as was the goodie bag when we left. We've already promised to return

I would like to thank Claire for her generous hospitality. She really made our stay so comfy. She is so professional and experienced in providing hospitality service. Also, the room was sparkling clean and full of amenities (iron table, towels, tv, etc.) I'm definitely returing back to The millbrook B&B in August to spend longer vacation.

What a Gem!

Claire was very welcoming and informative. Covid-19 precautions comprehensive & practical. Room was tastefully decorated, bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast range was large, food was well cooked and good quality. Nothing was too much trouble. Conveniently located for seafront and access to main routes out of town. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed with my two children and it was a fantastic base to walk into Torquay through the Abbey and to visit nearby places. Ben and Claire were very friendly and the property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The family bedroom that we stayed in was excellent as was the breakfast each morning. Lots of personal touches such as fresh milk in your room, small fridge to keep drinks cool, sweets and fresh fruit and water for your journey home.

A good homely base to explore Torquay

A very homely b&b ran by supern hosts Claire and Ben. Perfect location to access the Abbey and Torquay promenade. Distance to town centre is a good short brisk walk. Millbrook is immaculately clean. Beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. Nothing is too much to ask from the hosts from requesting a fan in our room to tips on plaves to explore.
