"Asked for early check in and our room was ready after 4 pm. Front desk staff weren’t the friendliest. Bathtub stopper had a huge chunk of hair on it clogging the drain. Ac wasn’t properly working and had a large machine by window. Rained at night and window started leaking. Bellhop was great. Nice view, would only come back if it was significantly cheaper and fall time. Wasn’t worth the price. Food is also not as advertised."
"We stayed here for one night because we were attending a show at MSG. Very helpful and friendly staff. They let us check in a little earlier as a courtesy. The rooms are charming, but small which is to be expected when you stay in a historic building. They also offer luggage storage for a fee. Super convenient to MSG and Penn Station, as well as other stops."
"Location and nice rooms. No room service or restaurant or mini fridge- the lounge is closed on Sunday. But if you want to be close to Central Park- this is perfect"
"The room was good, and if you don’t need the hotel for anything except sleeping, then it’s fine. The staff is very nice. So why the low review? The concierge desk. We asked for one item to be sent to our room, we got 4 and then it was stuck on the bill, which we then had to argue. We asked them to make us reservations at the hotel restaurant, which they got wrong twice. We asked them to call us a cab, but they got what we thought was an Uber - it turned out to be a Black Car service totalling...
