"At 5:30A this morning, the TV in the next room began playing very loudly. My husband called the front desk and asked the night clerk to address the issue. When nothing happened, he went and asked why - the night clerk said he called the room and knocked on the door - but got no response. He then refused to do anything else. My husband had to resolve the problem himself by banging on the door - after that the TV was shut off. I might add that this solution was really unacceptable as who knows what was going on in that room - clearly an unsafe situation. The next morning when my husband asked again why the night clerk couldn't address the issue - the night clerk became confrontational and quite belligerent - asking my husband if he had a problem. I expect if staying at a hotel to be treated with respect by the staff and the staff should be able to handle issues as they arise. This was not the case; and may be the result of insufficient training / preparation? 5:30AM is much too early to be awoken in this manner and I personally didn't hear either the phone or the night clerk knocking on the door next to ours (I certainly did hear the TV blasting) - so apparently he didn't know how or couldn't adequately address the loudness issue plus he was very rude to us. So, for this reason, we won't be staying at this or any Comfort Inn in the future. "
