"This place is great! I will definitely stay here again if in Budapest. Close to public transport and interesting sites. Close to a grocery to purchase food to prepare in the guest kitchen. Constant cleaning going on. Love the security for female dorms. Other than no en suite toilets, this place is absolutely perfect!"

"Great kitchen for cooking and eating. The hostel had a lot of communal spaces and a beautiful garden to sit and have a drink, eat or just relax. The beds were a bit rough for me with a very thin mattress I could feel the support bars. It could be a bit loud at times. Otherwise a nice stay."

"Lavender Circus Hostel was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to Budapest. It has a unique, quaint charm and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "Check-in was smooth and the location is nice - right next to Városliget (City Park). Plenty of public transport in the vicinity and a 40ish minute walk into town. At times it felt like the staff didn't really want to be there - puts a little dampener on your stay. Our room (mixed 3-bed dorm) was detached from the main hostel building so we felt a little on the outside but no big issue. The room would benefit with some AC - at 30°C outside the room heats up quickly!"
