"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

"Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage."

"The suite room is spacious, and the beds are nice and comfortable. Room full of outlets and lights. Everything was clean. The full kitchen is A plus, it has all the things you need, even a dishwasher and food disposal to keep it clean. My family enjoyed our time together very much and we thank the great staff and service. My only problem was that the location was so close to the airport. But if you are a heavy sleeper it's ok."

"Both of the front desk employees were sitting in the lobby eating when we arrived. One got up to check us in and she was kind but not overly welcoming. We got our keys and went to the room - the wallpaper was peeling badly in the bathroom, the plug for the tub didn’t work, and the kitchen area counter was sticky. Minor things I know but the upkeep could definitely be better. On our way out for dinner both desk employees were playing on their phones so no one really said anything or even looked...

"Guests in the room beside mine were throwing a party well after midnight. There was music blaring, yelling, screaming, banging. I called the front desk twice within an hour and the party was not shut down."

"The room was very spacious and clean. The lobby area was also very clean ut what was very disturbing was the trash in the parking lot and even right in front of the entranceway. when I mentioned the trash the front desk clerk after checking me in immediately went outside and picked up the trash."

"For one of the best It lacks alot. The customer service agents at the font did not know much about the city. Also there is no market place to pick up water or any where to shop if you forgot anything"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and had a big couch and a desk. But the bed was much too firm and the carpet looked dingy. The lighting was too dim, even in the bathroom sink area. Breakfast was better than some other chain hotels, but we missed it on our last day because they had only told us the hours for the weekend, and breakfast ends earlier on weekdays."
