The clothes dryer didn’t work. My son and his family also had a room here and theirs was worse. Staff wouldn’t even look at their complaints (hair in shower, urine, blood and feces in bathroom). "A must stay if you are in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. The house was spotless and had everything you needed for a homelike feeling. Spacious and well equipped with the necessities for everyday comfort in a quiet neighborhood. Close to main road with access to shopping and restaurants. Better than an "extended stay" hotel."

"About what you’d expect from a motel style stay. Older building but rooms are kept clean and somewhat updated with that old familiar motel room smell. Staff was pleasant and eager to help. Parking was plentiful with the ability to park outside of your room. I didn’t use the pool or attend the free breakfast. "

"There is a coffee and ice cream shop next-door. Did not use the amenities at all nor did I look at them. The rooms do need updating but would not keep me from staying there again as it is a reasonable priced property. The front desk staff is amazing! So helpful! You get a parking pass or downtown for your car which is great! "

"Our room had seemingly been updated … partially. New window coverings (shades) but old valance was evident (not painted). Stand-alone dehumidifier in the room seemed odd- and was quite loud. We stayed here a year ago, and while the room was much better this year, it was still quite expensive for a Days Inn. But - it’s the only real option in Port Charlotte…"

"The kitchen has a fridge microwave and stove if you want to cook meals. It was very clean it was located near the Highway near restaurants and stores easy access. The guy clerk with gray hair was really nice and patient. The black lady that was the hotel clerk was very rude. The only thing is you have to get new towels or tissue only during business hours no breakfast and throw your own trash out no room service. It was affordable for the week I was there. If I ever come back hope they work on...
