"The tiny houses are packed in fairly close, and with RVs as well, (not obvious from listing) but honestly it didn't affect our stay at all. There was a nice little well manicured wandering path down the middle of the tiny homes, and the positioning of the units made it still feel quite private. The whole area was more like a really quiet, relaxed campground with some very welcoming long-term stayers in the mix and mobile homes around the edge and nearby. It was our first time visiting Truckee and honestly we didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back. The tiny home was well appointed, well maintained, and super comfy. There's a dog park in the complex (kinda tucked away so may need to ask for directions). We're still amazed at how well socialized all the dogs there are! There are also some really nice nearby hikes. My dog and child popped in and out of the Truckee river while we wandered down the path. Truly a dog-friendly, outdoorsy community."
