"This was a return trip staying there. It gives you a mountain feeling staying there. It is very clean and the beds aren't bad. It was too cold for the swimming pool which is sparkling clean. We had the unit with small kitchen. It was nice if we wanted to cook or even popcorn. The price is right and enjoy the mountains behind you"

"This was our first trip to Storyland with our children (4 and 1). The Inn and More was the perfect place for us. The room was super clean, the pool was pristine, and the playgrounds and river access were perfect for the kids. We ordered takeout and ate dinners on the picnic tables by the playground which was very convenient. There was a pack n play with sheets and an extra blanket ready for us in the room when we arrived. The lounge was fully stocked with snacks and games for the whole family....

"My husband and I were very impressed with the Golden Apple Inn. We went with my daughter, son in law and my grandsons, ages 12 & 8. We had rooms across the hall from each other, theirs was facing the pool and ours was facing the parking lot. We all enjoyed the pool!! The grounds were very well maintained (my son in law is a landscaper too). The ice machine, vending machines were stocked, and staff on site were absolutely charming!! We went to Storyland, which was only 4 minutes...

"This property was just purchased and changed hands, with that said the property is older and needs some work which I believe is starting to take place. It does sound like the new owner plans to make upgrades. If that does happen, this place will be great. The inn needs some TLC and the restaurant food needs some upgrades. For instance the nachos were huge but the chips were stale. Small things but definitely room for improvement. The mattress was super firm and not very comfortable...

"Great place with a classic charm. The cabins are older but well maintained. Loved sitting out on the front porch having pizza and playing cards with our friends. View was beautiful. The young gentleman who checked us in was wonderful. We would stay again if we come through the area again."
