"This is a very old hotel and consequently after the rain our room had a very strong odor of sewage which was unpleasant. Also due to rain the front desk was unable to secure a taxi on our departure to train station. We were forced to walk 2 blocks with all of our luggage in the rain to a taxi stand where we waited an additional 20 min. Just including this for travelers seeking this hotel. May be wise to schedule transports in advance. Never knew getting a taxi would be this difficult. Otherwise...

"The property was in excellent location in Rialto area, close to vaporetta and main attractions. Neely renovated bathroom, spacious room and a kitchenette and fridge fully loaded.
