"This is an iconic and truly lovely venue which we’ve been using for 20plus years. Its new parking regime is complicated, the app is frustrating and it genuinely distracts from a lovely place to relax and unwind. Have to constantly top up the stay. Which is a pain but when there is so little phone coverage is positively annoying. Shame, as it’s really put us off and changed our thoughts on using it for work and leisure going forward. Staff are utterly lovely, professional and friendly."

"The room was clean, but small. It was nice that they provide a free continental breakfast every morning. They don’t have a lot to offer as far as their menu the rest of the day though. I like that they have a working water wheel out there, but I only got to see it briefly for a few minutes since it was only on for a brief time during our stay. If you stay there take advantage of the public foot paths and wander around because the area is absolutely gorgeous. The room has good circulation. It was nice that they let us store our baggage before check-in."

"Great customer service! From holding our luggage when we arrived early, to accepting a delivery for us, and helping us book a taxi, all the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The location was also very convenient and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!"
