Quiet, basic accommodation

Location is great, right in Ubud but pretty quiet at the same time. Room was basic but reasonably clean, breakfast service is good and staff are friendly.

Lovely hotel but no longer a spa

The rooms offered by Expedia are lovely with a pool literally outside the door. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is clean. As a service the staff drives you to the city centre of Ubud.

We felt that this hotel had a "homey" feel. A more authentic Balinese experience than the more expensive resorts. It provided all we needed, except when the free car to Ubud had broken down. Very helpful staff.

Small hotel in Ubud area

Small hotel with a nice garden and a pool. Drop-off service durng the day since Ubud center is not at a walking distance. Staff is helpful. Road is noisy.

部屋のリノベーションが必要

部屋は相当古びています。バスルームは壊れてるし、ビックリする程ボロかったです。スタッフも悪い人たちではないけど、ホテル業のサービスの教育をきちんと受けた感じではありません。ただスパが通常バリニーズマッサージ60分300,000ルピアのところをインハウスゲストは100,000ルピアで受けられるところはよかったです。

Great value for money

It is a fair way from Ubud centre on foot but the staff dropped us of and picked us up. The staff were really exceptional, friendly, helpful and great with advice. Our room faced directly on to the pool which was nice. The only downfall was the bathroom but it was OK.

The swimming pool was really small and deep, and not suitable for small kids. breakfast was ok. breakfast starts from 8am. the hotel is not located close to the ubud center. Hotel staff can drive guests to anywhere in 3km. we could use the wifi in our room.

Loved this place!

Our family stayed here for a week. Lovely grounds, you don't notice you are on a busy road. You can walk into town centre, however there are two cars that can drop you in and pick you up any time. The massages are convenient! Small pool, nice for a dip and lovely hang out places. At the time we were there they were building a new restaurant, but the simple open air one was lovely. Staff helped us organise a local based driver and tours as our phone wasn't working.

Great stay

Not exactly in the center of Ubud but granted that they offer a free shuttle service, the 5min drive away is worth it. The room was clean and hotel environment was pleasant and full of greenery. Not to mention, the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful

Okay hotel about a 30 min walk from the center. Much more expensive if you don't book online. When I checked-out, staff claimed that they had no record of my resv and payment, even though I showed them my conformation email and itinerary. I wound up paying almost double the price for my room.

Great Budget hotel for Ubud!!

Great first impression checking into this hotel. Location is very secluded and very quiet. My room (#9) had a massive bathroom, bathtub and shower and it had a skylight for the sunshine!. The free breakfasts were okay, not big not small servings. Renting a scooter was only 50 000R or $5USD per day! Perfect for single or couple backpackers.

Hotel charmant, calme et accueillant

12 nuits réservées fin septembre. Globalement, j'ai apprécié le calme et le charme de l'hôtel (Végétation luxuriante,fleur, et piscine). Notre chambre était située au RDC face à la piscine donc plutôt sympa. Lit spacieux, grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire, petite terrasse devant la chambre pour prendre son petit déj. La chambre est nettoyée et les draps de bain changés tous les jours. Le personnel est à l'écoute et toujours près à rendre service. L'hôtel étant excentré, un service pick up est inclus pour vous emmener et revenir vous chercher dans le centre d'Ubud. Possibilité de louer des chauffeurs à l'hôtel pour d'autres visites (négocier les prix) Choix raisonnable pour le petit déjeuner (jus de fruit, boisson chaude, pancake, omelette....) qui peut vous être servis dans votre chambre. Seul bémol : à notre arrivée les toilettes étaient sales.

Private hotel in Ubud (Greater area)

Ubud is a lovely town and has a lots of activities to offer in the surrounding areas. I'd recommend it. The hotel is remote and is a good 45 minute walk to the centre of Ubud (downhill). It is in need of some TLC, but at the cost per night you can forgive them. There is a shuttle in and out of Ubud and a Taxi shouldn't cost more than 60,000 IDR. The staff are very friendly and try to help you as much as they can... English is difficult for some of the staff. Overall in is worth staying there at the prices being charged.

Comfortable hotel, a few km out of town.

This hotel lives up to expectations. Perfectly acceptable room in nice surroundings. It's a bit of a hike from the centre of Ubud, but a shuttle service is provided. By staying here, you are essentially trading off the price against the distance from the centre of town.

Wouldn't recommend

Happy, helpful staff. Ordering from restaurant took some time, average food. My room was very noisy. I did mention this to one of the staff. After it rained which was nightly, there must have been some trees overhanging the bathroom roof which had part polycarbonate on it. Whether it was the rain drops or the raindrops from the trees dropping onto roof, which ever, it made it extremely noisy for hours after. I had to use earplugs every night as the roof kept popping and cracking. I found the hotel too far away from the main streets of Ubud, however the shuttle was available and frequent. There was music been played from 8.30 in the morning to 9pm at night daily. The massage I had pre booked from home. nearly wasn't available for me upon arrival. I had to push for it even though it was booked 1 week in advance. Nice, tranquil gardens but can hear traffic from inside the room.
