My husband and I just came here for our honeymoon and we loved the location (how we really felt in the culture) the property was just okay for us, we thought more would come included (especially the food). Being a resort you would think the portions would be a bit bigger but every time we ate there we were either still really hungry or had to spend $700.000 rp. I personally also didn’t like the restaurant food (lack of flavor/seasoning)… since it was our honeymoon I booked two surprises 1) floating pool breakfast 2) private dinner BOTH I wish I didn’t spend the money on. The breakfast were items you got off of the regular menu and the “5 course dinner” was disappointing, the only real food we received during that experience was the main course (which again we could have just had dinner at a near by restaurant for cheaper). However, the staff was really nice and the place was clean! Do not expect the same type of room cleaning you would get at a hotel, they don’t exchange out your bedding/towels unless you tell them too. Also save your money with the Transportation they offer (use the free shuttle to Ubud), download grab or gojeck instead. We would stay here again, but we would do a couple of small things differently like food and travel.
