"Our stay at the Ryokan Tsuchi to Ito was nothing short of a dream. The ryokan itself is beautiful with gorgeous details and comfort in every corner. The host, Kimi, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and provided wonderful recommendations as we spent our days exploring Nagano. The food is absolutely exceptional, and you can tell they take great pride in the food they grow and Kimi’s mom is an incredible cook. "Delightfully friendly and kind hosts. Very clean place. Simple rooms, with everything you need, and shared washrooms. Nice breakfast. The shuttle to the lift is nice (although also easily walkeable in 10-15 minutes). The onsen bath downstairs is a definite bonus."

"Very friendly staff and good facilities!"
